3. Micro-Tapping vs. Full Holds

Never hold down the left or right directional arrow snowrider  keys for extended periods. Holding a directional key causes aggressive carving that destabilizes your lateral momentum. Instead, use rhythmic, light taps to feather your sled into position. Short micro-adjustments keep your runners pointed down the fall line, ready for an immediate counter-turn.

4. The Defensive Jump

The jump mechanic is not just for clearing fences; it is an effective emergency panic button. If you realize your steering angle will bring you dangerously close to the base of a tree branch or a low rock, jumping right before contact can sometimes elevate your hitbox over the edge of the hazard, salvaging an otherwise fatal mistake.
